Organizing at the Intersection of Immigration and Education brought together a panel of community organizers and activists from New York state who are working at the intersections of immigration and education. The groups represented included: Flanbwayan, the NYSYLC (New York State Youth Leadership Council), RAISE (Revolutionizing Asian American Immigrant Stories on the East Coast), and ImmSchools. 

Panelists included:

  • Darnell Benoit - Flanbwayan Haitian Literacy Project

  • Gabriela Martinez - NYSYLC (New York State Youth Leadership Council)

  • Simran Thind - RAISE (Revolutionizing Asian American Immigrant Stories on the East Coast)
